Nadja Auermann
Nadja Auermann (born March 19, 1971, in Berlin) is a German fashion model and actress. She was discovered in Berlin in 1990 while being photographed for a travel magazine. In October 1991, Ellen von Unwerth photographed Auermann for the British edition of *Vogue*, and in September 1993, she appeared on the cover of the magazine's US edition. Auermann has appeared on the covers of most fashion magazines and has worked with nearly all major fashion designers. She is considered one of Germany's most famous fashion models, alongside Claudia Schiffer, Heidi Klum, and Tatjana Patitz. She increasingly withdrew from the modeling industry in 2003 and, the following year, took on her first leading role in the television thriller *Dornröschens leiser Tod*. Auermann held entries in the *Guinness Book of World Records* in 1997 and 1999 as the model with the longest legs (112 cm); however, this record has since been broken. Throughout her career, Auermann has worked with photographers such as Steven Meisel, Helmut Newton, Mario Testino, Richard Avedon, Patrick Demarchelier, Irving Penn, Herb Ritts, Craig McDean, Steven Klein, Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, Mario Sorrenti, Paolo Rov…
