Morganna Love

From an early age, Morganna discovered two things: her artistic vocation and her gender identity. When she was only four years old, she started singing and was a soloist in the school's nuns' choir. According to her own words, one day she woke up and felt her feminine identity living inside her body. She began to put on makeup and emulate female TV stars. This of course, caused a shock in her family and she faced rejection. She first defined herself as a gay boy, despite knowing that deep down she was a woman. She began her musical training at the School of Music of the University of Guanajuato. In 2001 she decided to emigrate to Mexico City to continue her musical training at the National Conservatory of Music. Eventually, she began to collaborate with an opera company. There she decided to define her identity and began her transition process, which lasted four years without any family support. After a process of hormonal and psychological therapy, in 2012 she decided to undergo sex reassignment surgery in Thailand.
