At the end of the 18th century, Gildas, a 12-year-old boy accompanied by his incorrigible dog Friquet, decides to leave Saint Malo and stows away aboard a three masted ship: The Albatross. He sets off to discover wild, uncharted lands alongside a team of eccentric scientists, embarking on a series of extraordinary adventures.
