Peter Camenzind

Peter Camenzind is a young man who feels drawn to the solitude of the mountains and the quiet beauty of nature. Raised in a humble family in a Swiss mountain village, he grows up surrounded by rugged landscapes that shape his view of the world. Yet his inner world extends far beyond the familiar life of his family and fellow villagers. Disillusioned with the confines of everyday life, he sets out to find his place in the world, seeking meaning through travel, literature, and encounters with others.
